To Become a Chapter or Chapter President
National Board of Directors of the World Gospel Musical Association shall regulate membership for headquarters and its chapters.

Chapter Representative
Board of Directors meets at the annual convention to conduct the business of the Association. The Board sets policies focused on moving the Association forward as it relates to mission and vision of the organization.
Executive Officers meet four times per year conduct the business of the Association and review reports of chapter and affiliate members.

Department
Chairpersons must meet with members at least three times per year for event planning. Every department should have at least two events\services per year. Quarterly reports of activities must be submitted to national secretary.
Terms
No choir, group or individual will be accepted for membership if they/he/she does not commit to the rules and regulation of membership within reason. The listed below are qualifications for members in good standing (within reason):

General
General Membership – Yearly Dues $50
An individual must submit annual dues during the week of annual convention. Individual should function regularly within a chapter through its departments. Dues are set by the local chapter and approved by the Board of Directors of the WGMA.
Chapter hood
Chapter is defined as branch of the organization covering a specific geographical area outside of Newark, New Jersey and Vicinity.
A chapter is to be headed by Chapter Representative and has the power to carry out/conduct business as outlined in the bylaws with the full support of the Board of Director. Every chapter of the World Gospel Musical Association shall have dues agreed upon by the membership of the local chapter.
If a chapter does not exist in a particular geographical area one can be started by contacting the Headquarters – Newark, New Jersey. Persons are encouraged to submit request in writing to the national secretary for review by the Board of Directors.
Chapters Yearly Dues $150
A chapter must submit annual dues during the week of annual convention. Chapter representative holds a seat on the Board of Directors and must attend all board and executive officer meeting when request.
Affiliate
An affiliate member is defined as any choir, group or individual with their own ministry that wants to unite and share in the mission and vision of WGMA. They should attend at least three (3) functions within the local chapters and make quarterly reports of activities\calendar using the organization name for which a tithe for the event should be submitted to headquarters.
Affiliate Membership Yearly Dues $ 75
An affiliate member must submit annual dues during the week of annual convention. Attend all board and executive officer meeting when request.
